The Rewrite:

An immesive half-day lifewriting hiatus

You’ve lived enough life to know that change is both beautiful and brutal. You’ve written through heartbreak, career shifts, loss, or renewal. And now you’ve reached the moment when staying the same costs more than starting again. The Half-Day Intensive is a guided journey inward: six hours of writing, reflection, and strategy to help you make meaning of where you’ve been, clarify where you’re going, and start walking in deeper alignment.

Rewrite Your Story Rewrite Your Life

The Rewrite is a focused, immersive experience designed to help you pause, reflect, and realign. Rooted in Black feminist wisdom, narrative therapy, and the practice of LifeWriting, this guided intensive helps you uncover the patterns underpinning your current and past choices—and begin authoring a new narrative that gives rise to new thoughts, words, actions, and outcomes across your life.In just a few intentional hours, you’ll move through a series of guided writing exercises, reflective frameworks, and clarity practices that bring your inner world into focus. You’ll learn how to translate what you feel into insight, what you know into action, and what you’ve lived into wisdom. You’ll leave with language for change, a practice that sustains your growth, and a renewed sense of direction for the life you’re building. This is more than a writing workshop—it’s a turning point.
A practice in presence. In truth-telling. In reclaiming your voice, your power, and your direction—one page, one choice, one bold rewrite at a time.

What story are you telling yourself about where you are - and where you're going?

"we tell ourselves stories
in order to live"

The stories we carry — the ones we’ve inherited, stitched together, or left unwritten — shape everything: how we show up, what we believe is possible, and the lives we build.
Some stories protect us. Others hold us back. And too often, we’re moving too fast to untangle which is which.
This course is a space to pause. To sit with the questions we usually sidestep. To honor what’s shaped us and get honest about what’s calling us now.

This is for you if...

This is for you if you’re building something bigger than you. This is for you if you have an idea you’re too scared to face, you feel some invisible force stopping you, but the not-doing is deepening self-resentment.This is for you to remember why you started. This is for you to remember the baddie that you are post-partum, post-divorce, post-layoff.

The Resonance Framework

This course is rooted in the Resonance Framework, which integrates narrative therapy, learning sciences, and Black feminist praxis to create a transformative space for self-renewal and actualization.

clarity

Remember your past and the seminal moments, relationships, and experiences that have shaped you. You will start by digging through written artifacts, evidence of your thinking and state of being at the time.

courage

Release what no longer serves you and embrace a new narrative. Step into your power by articulating a story rooted in possibility and purpose.

commitment

Take intentional action to bring your new story to life, applying it to your work, your relationships, and the way you show up every day.

How It Works

The Rewrite is a six-hour guided LifeWriting experience designed to help you explore one unfinished area of your life — the place where your story still feels unsettled or incomplete.Through a blend of guided writing, reflective conversation, and narrative practice, you’ll move through a three-part process.

you will follow a 3-part process:

The Story of Separation

You’ll write the truth of what happened — revisiting the moments that shaped you, the relationships that shifted you, and the places where you learned to protect yourself.

The Work of Understanding

You’ll begin to make meaning of what you’ve written — tracing patterns, surfacing insight, and identifying what this story has been teaching you about who you are and how you move through the world.

The Practice of Return

You’ll translate your insight into language and action — crafting NewStory Statements, identifying Productive Practices, and defining the Right Next Step (TRNSform) that brings your learning to life.

at the end you will have

three written stories

Three written pieces that capture defining moments within one area of your life — the experiences, patterns, and turning points that still feel unfinished.

newstory statement

A clear, powerful articulation of the shift you’re making. Language that reframes your old understanding and anchors a new truth.

PRODUCTIVE PRACTICE

A simple, repeatable ritual or behavior that brings your NewStory to life — the way you begin living what you’ve written.

self-definition journal

A filled-in personal journal of prompts, reflections, and insights.

this is for you if...

-This is for you if you need some new thinking tools, to release yourself from the not-enoughness of energy, time, money, and relationships.-This is for you if you want to meet the unknown, not with anxiety, but with curiosity, you ask yourself “how good can this get?”-This is for you if you’ve had to bury a parent or loved one, and now wonder about the point of it all.-This is for you if you feel too old to start something new. This is for you if you feel like you’re too inexperienced to start something new.
